Breenu Sra is an advocate for students and families. She strives to enhance education and mental health for people with disabilities and underrepresented individuals. In her work, Breenu is passionate about preparing students to be learners.
Breenu has 24 years of experience working in education and previously worked as a school psychologist. She is now a psychotherapist who treats individuals, couples, and families involved in the legal system.
She has taught Individual Education Program Writing, Law, and Compliance at San Jose State University. She has also volunteered as a scoring attorney for mock trial competitions and has mentored students for the Santa Clara County Peer Court program at Lincoln Law School.
Breenu is a lifelong learner. She has a law degree from Lincoln Law School, a master’s degree in humanistic and clinical psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology, a master’s degree in school psychology from La Sierra University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
Outside of work, Breenu is a dedicated mother to a son who is currently studying to be a dentist. She also loves to travel, cook, paint, and spend time with her family and friends.
