FIRST 5 has launched a campaign to raise awareness that young children prenatal through age 5, are not yet eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Parents, caregivers, and family members must continue to do their part to protect the young children in their lives by wearing a mask and getting vaccinated.

Target Audience: Parents, caregivers, family members who have or spend time with children under five.
Timeline: November 2021; feel free to share the premade posts and images on your social media platforms throughout the month. Buses will begin displaying our signage starting this week.
Key Message
Until your child is eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19, continue to do your part. Wear your mask and get vaccinated to keep your child safe.
As families prepare to celebrate the holidays with loved ones, it’s still unclear when children under five will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Until then, the best thing parents, caregivers, and family members can do is get fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
If you have unvaccinated children in your family, continue to do your part to protect them against COVID-19. Spend time outdoors or do activities at home with your children and immediate family.
