PeeWee Mariachi is a music and dance program for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers in which participants are introduced to the music of
PeeWee Mariachi will provide quality instruction to infants, toddlers and their caregivers utilizing music and children’s games from
• school-readiness and academic achievement
• parental involvement and the “home-school” connection
• the self-esteem of each student
• the transfer of cultural traditions
• community access to cultural traditions
PeeWee Mariachi is produced by the Mexican Heritage Corporation in collaboration with the Children’s
• participants must commit to attending ALL classes
• adults and visitors, including siblings, will participate in all activities
• toddlers and infants will participate at their own pace, not forced
• running in class is not allowed
• parents/caregivers will sign liability, photo & video release forms
While PeeWee Mariachi is not an instrument training program and formal dance instruction will not be provided, all graduates are encouraged to seek out classes and continue their artistic growth.
Registration packets are available via e-mail. Please contact Monica Ramos at mramos@mhcviva.org and return it on the first day of class. Onsite registrations will be accepted space-permitting.
