Grantee Description

West Valley Community Services provides outreach and capacity building activities and services that assist parents, caregivers and the general population in learning how to access services, and become effective leaders and advocates who promote the healthy development of children prenatal through age 5. Activities and services include:

• A book drive to collect age appropriate books from the community that are donated during outreach activities;
  
• A Resource library offering flyers and brochures in a variety of languages including, but not limited to English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin
  
• A Community Engagement Specialist provides outreach and presentations in affordable housing neighborhoods, churches, and local libraries and at parent workshops.
