Event Description

Description:
This interactive, information-packed session will provide tips and strategies for practical, daily applications of the developmental assets framework in our community’s early childhood system.
Participants will explore and unpack what it really means to create a seamless system of early care and education that provides for every young child to thrive in their family and community settings. Meaningful, sustained parent engagement, and more intentional, solid community partnerships are key to creating this system. Finally, new ways of thinking about outcomes and measuring community impact are necessary. Come and help shape the conversation and be part of this unique learning experience.

Participants will:
• Walk away with at least two new tools or strategies for building developmental assets in young children;
• Gain a deeper understanding of parent and community connections that support a healthy early childhood system and identify two immediate ways to make or strengthen these connections this summer;
• Create sample logic models that include success indicators and outcome measures that reflect intentional actions that lead to real impact with the children and families you serve.

Target Audience:
FIRST 5 partners.
