For families with children under the age of 6. (English Speakers)

Parents will have an opportunity to learn:

  • age appropriate discipline strategies
  • how to interpret and manage their child's behaviors and emotions
  • how to build a stronger bond with their child and enjoy their time together

This will be an evening of discussion, group activities, and free prizes.

Childcare and refreshments will be provided.

The Lee y Serás Family Conversations Parent Workshops provide parents with an understanding of the skills their children need to become strong readers and learners. The workshops accomplish this through the use of material that acknowledges that Latino culture, traditions, practices, and everyday experiences support literacy development and prepare children for learning and life.
